    répondre: Yes, the insert came with the filter.

    répondre: I think the insets only come with the prefilters. I've never seen them sold separately.
  • question: Does this foam prefilter come with an attachment to put on the intake so that the foam don't collapse?

    répondre: Just has a plastic piece that goes about 2 inches into the foam filter. The plastic piece actually connects to the pump inlet. The foam still collapses over time.
  • question: Why foam vs rigid prefilter? Am considering for my pondmaster 900 submerged in basin for bubbling boulder

    répondre: The foam filter collects particulate matter- i.e. dust, small debris etc. so you can clean the foam filter and remove the debris from the system.
