An Introduction to Ancient Greek: A Literary Approach Second Edition,2 is an excellent introductory grammar to Ancient Greek. The author, Professor Luschnig, does an excellent job presenting the material and incorporating ancient writers into the translation exercises. The book also includes plenty of useful exercises and has online supporting materials. The Greek text is gorgeous and user-friendly. The cover is durable but can get damaged with misuse. However, at its price point, it is almost unbeatable for a new Ancient Greek textbook.
