Pure Apple Pectin is a US-made product in a 16-ounce container. According to the manufacturer, this amidated pectin is high methylester apple pectin standardized with dextrose. It does not contain Citrate or Citric Acid. One serving size contains 25 grams of carbohydrate and is 100 grams in size. This pectin seems to work well in making Jellies and in French Pate de fruit recipes. However, it's important to note that this product may not be for everyone. The presence of dextrose, which accounts for OVER HALF of the product's contents, makes it a poor choice for those with sugar sensitivity or allergies.
