It can be melted down to finish projects and can also be used to make bracelets if desired. The thread holds up well outdoors in the rain and sun and is perfect for dreamcatchers as it can be worked with without the wax wearing down quickly. However, this thread is not recommended for hand-stitching as it starts to unwind and fray after about an inch or two of pre-pricked leather and the design of the thread will cause your stitches to lay awkwardly and look mis-stitched. It is best suited to small items where the stitching will not be seen as it is not a professional-grade thread.
