It has a pudding-like consistency and is easy to apply. However, there is significant shrinkage and a second application may be needed. It requires less product than expected, with less than half a gallon needed for an entire floor. While it hasn't been stained yet, it is expected to take stain well. However, there have been some negative experiences with the product not staying in cracks or holes, and not taking stain properly. In some cases, the product has ruined floors and caused mismatched colors when used on decks. Overall, it is advised to be cautious when using this product.
