- Overview GlowShift’s Black 7 Color Series 2†Tachometer Gauge reads from 0 to 10,000 RPM and can be installed into any 1 through 10 cylinder gas powered engine, making it the perfect addition to performance vehicles. This 2-1/16†(52mm) tach gauge reads from 0 to 10,000 RPM with incredible accuracy and ensures you are shifting at the right time, also protecting against unnecessary transmission wear. Install the gauge by connecting the included color coded wire harness to the negative side of your coil or to the tachometer test port. Black 7 Color Series GlowShift’s Black 7 Color Gauge Series features a black gauge face, magnified clear lens and illuminated red needle that sweeps 270°. Each analog gauge is equipped with stepper motor technology creating a combination of accurate readings and extremely smooth needle movement. Ultra-bright LED solid color modes include Blue, Green, Red, Teal, Yellow, Purple and White. With GlowShift’s 7 color LED through dial lighting system you can select and change the color of your gauge display by simply pressing the button located on the front of the gauge. Note: Our tachometers are only designed for a gasoline, single coil application. For multiple coil applications, the use of a multiple coil or aftermarket ignition system adapter is required. Vehicles equipped with High Energy Ignition Systems (HEI) will require GlowShift’s HEI Signal Filter. GlowShift Guarantee GlowShift includes installation instructions, a one year limited warranty and lifetime tech support with each purchase.
